Pixar Place Hotel

We enjoyed Pixar Place Hotel during our recent visit. It's about a 0.5 mile/15 minute walk over to the main park gates (not including the security check), but it was nice having some separation from the parks/Downtown Disney. The interior feels fresh and remarkably calm. The rooms are neat and met all our needs as a family of three: the beds were very comfortable, there was a little noise from the hall/adjoining room, but not overly so, and the fridge was convenient (note: to make the fridge function more effectively, keep the door of the cupboard it's in open as often as possible). The staff at all points was friendly and helpful. Grocery delivery pick up from the Bell Station was very easy. The elevator issue everyone else seems to be posting about... wasn't really an issue? Maybe it was the time of year we visited (late January), but the wait wasn't bad. The pool was closed for refurbishment during our stay (boo), but there was a golf cart shuttle available to take us over to the pools at the Disneyland Hotel (yay). We would absolutely stay at this hotel again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great experience staying at Pixar Hotel with our family. It was truly a special and memorable trip for us. We stayed on the 10th floor and the view overlooking Disney California was amazing — definitely worth it. The only downsides were the $45 parking fee (especially since we have annual passes) and the elevator service. At one point, we waited about 25 minutes just to go down, which was frustrating. Other than that, we were very satisfied. The atmosphere and family experience made it a great stay overall.

We had a great experience staying at this resort! We stayed from 1/26 to 1/30. The room we got overlooked California Adventure so I believe we got a little extra pixie dust with that. Really stunning view of the park and sunrise. Food was great here and there are a couple of options. Everything was super clean and staff were fantastic. Only issue was the elevators, like others have stated. The system is a little odd and can result in waiting a bit for a free elevator. Luckily, we noticed a cast member by the elevators regularly to explain and help people navigate them. This hotel is also only about a 5 minute walk away from the entrance to Downtown Disney which connects to the parks. Super convenient location and I feel it was worth the price point.

Love love love this hotel! The theming is SO adorable, especially when Bing Bong walks around as a surprise character visit! The beds were large and comfy, same with the room! I loved the rooftop pool, jacuzzi and firework viewing area! The restaurant had the best food but was a bit pricey! I didn't like how they wanted to charge for cabanas by the pool. We pay big money to stay at this resort, those should be included at a first come first served. Especially during off season when there's no one at the pool deck! They are getting rid of the special Pixar Place entrance and early park access. Too bad!

Our stay at the Pixar Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the level of service set the tone for an unforgettable experience. Malou at the check-in desk was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to recommend upgrading to the lounge, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay. Her warmth and professionalism were evident right away, and a small but incredibly meaningful gesture stood out to us, she gifted our toddler, who happens to share the same name as hers, a Pixar gift. That thoughtful act truly went a long way and made our family feel genuinely cared for. Cristian, the security guard from Los Angeles, also made a huge positive impact on our visit. He went above and beyond by showing us around, assisting us with pin trading, and making the experience fun and welcoming. His friendliness and attentiveness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our stay. The room itself was a 10 out of 10, comfortable, clean, and perfectly themed. The lounge was equally impressive, and the customer service provided by all the ladies there was top notch. We would absolutely recommend the lounge upgrade. Having access to the gym was another great bonus and rounded out the experience perfectly. Overall, this was a 10 out of 10 stay. Exceptional service, thoughtful staff, and an incredible atmosphere. We highly recommend the Pixar Hotel and look forward to returning.

The staff is awesome they will do what they can to accommodate you. I'm in a wheelchair and had no more assable rooms, they help to put get a shower chair for me. The room was spacious enough for my wheelchair so was happy with it. The view was pretty too. My sister and I had no complaints. Housekeeping was friendly and came every day. If they were in the hallway and saw you come out of your room they'd ask you if you needed anything extra. You got clean towels every day. Room cleaned everyday. They even did cute things with our disney ears or stuffies. I would definitely go back again. I would love to give a shout out to April one of the cast members who works at the front desk. She was amazing at her job and went out of her to really be there for us

We had the BEST time staying the hotel! My kids loved every minor detail, it was so magical! Each cast member always greeted us and helped us with so much care. We loved seeing the characters walk around the lobby and taking the see-through elevator that made us feel like we were in the real “Up” house! Walking to the park was so easy from this hotel too! 10/10 reccommend!

5/5 stay! Upon arrival we were upgraded to a Premium view room, with the room ready before 10am. Already off to a great start! The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Honestly, after reading about the elevators we were concerned but had absolutely 0 issues with the elevators! No wait at all and always was empty, in the morning and at park close (and this was on a holiday weekend)! Would definitely stay here again.
